Goals

The goal of EI/ILP is to insure that families have efficient access to a coordinated, community-based service system. The early intervention grantees ensure that children and their families receive services that are:

• Designed to assess the full range of developmental needs of each child and the needs of their families related to their child's development;
• Provided by qualified personnel;
• Family Centered;
• Documented and described on the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP);
• Designed to include a wide range of family-centered services, resources and supports; and
• Provided in everyday routines, activities and places relevant to families lives.
